A memorial service to honor Kiran and her short but memorable life will be held on Saturday, 29 December 2007 at 2:00pm at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA (USA). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kiran's memory may be made to Forsyth County Animal Shelter, 1904 Old Atlanta Road, Cumming, GA 30041. One of Kiran's best friends was her dog, Neo, who was adopted from this shelter.
Extremely sad. My son who is almost the same age used to go to the same school as Kiran, 2 years ago. I still remember seeing them play tag with other kids near the gym at the Preserve at Deerfield apartments. She was a beautiful child. Our thoughts and prayers with Jennifer and family.

It's very sad...yet how beautiful that so many family, friends and neighbours have been able to come together to celebrate her short life and support the immediate family. (I never met Kiran but in some small way feel connected simply through my friend Bruce initialy letting me know that his wife, Maimie's sister Jennifer and two children had been involved in a road accident).
I'm sure Jennifer and family value your kindess at this time Manu.

I saw your site back in Jan. but I was not able to post a reply at that time. My daughter was the most thoughtful, loving, compassionate child and she would have appreciated being remembered by you. She is my most precious, beautiful angel. I think of her daily and I love and miss her dearly. My wife Jennifer and son Alex are doing well physically but the loss of Kiran is so very hard to deal with. I still can not believe that it has been almost a year since she was taken from us. Thank you so much for your kind words. Take care.
Regards,
Kiran's Daddy

Dear Himavanth
I want to thank you...for your kind post, for bringing your family into my life (albeit virtually), for your love and appreciation of your daughter Kiran, your wife Jennifer and son Alex.
I would like to offer this link to a beautiful short film made by Kate Novak, called "May you be blessed": http://www.blessyoumovie.com/
Don't forget to really LIVE, Kiran would have wanted you to...
Love and blessings

I was feeling nostalgic and searching for old friends when I came across the information about Kiran. I know I only met her twice, but I can tell she was a wonderful child and a beautiful soul. I cannot even imagine suffering the loss of a child. Our thoughts are with you, as I know time passes, the pain is still there. We do think of you often and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Tom and Leanne and family.

Thanks for your comment Leanne. I never actually met Kiran but am friends with her Mamie and Bruce Menzies (Kiran's mum's sister and brother in law) whom I know from when I lived in Seattle.
I'm honoured to have been able to facilitate the love and compassion shown through all who have commented to the posts on my blog.
Wishing you a peaceful 2009.
